So I was doing a little searching on this guy and it seems like people keep pushing this felon situation but as far as I’m seeing the only thing he had that was illegal was an expired pistol permit. Nothing about a felony though. Any charges he got that would have been a felony, he was never found guilty on, at least as of the date when this happened in Kenosha.
So… what is the penalty for having a pistol with an expired pistol license in Wisconson?
And brandishing it at someone? Boarder line attempted murder?

If this comes back anything other than not guilty across the board I hope the judge declares a mistrial with prejudice and cites all the jury tampering and intimidation as the cause.

Something is telling me that this judge is just waiting to use that card and is holding back to see the outcome because he feels Rittenhouse is innocent but wants the verdict to be read that way so it’s made public that he is innocent and not something along the lines of a mistrial.

At a minimum I expect a mistrial without prejudice if it’s anything other than not guilty. With prejudice would send a much stronger message that the BS that has gone on during and after arguments both by the DA and the general public will not be tolerated.

i think we all need to be prepared for a watershed moment whereby the rule of law is demonstrably a thing of the past.
So my wife passed this over to me today. Utah is going to be the test subject for new drivers licenses. Notice what’s tracked on the new licenses.
