I’m honestly scared to see anyone of them win. I don’t see any of them doing anything good for the country (republican or democrat)
It is amazing to me how fuzzy headed people are. Obama makes a nice speech in terms of style, talks in generalities about very nice things like hope and look at where it has gotten him. Scary. Of course, Hillary is old news - a political opportunist with no peer. Now McCain is an interesting character - hard to pigeon hole. He seems like the adult in the room, especially compared to Obama. He is less of an idealogue than the other two.
What I’d like: an end to the two party system. We need a three way race with a majority of the popular vote needed FTW. If no majority in the first round, then a runoff between the top two.
Would be interesting but remember have a lot of political parties leads to a more coalitional government system. Just without a prime minister.
As for Obama a lot of people liked JFK and Reagan for the same reasons people like Obama, his charisma. And many people argued that both against them for the same reason people are against Obama.
I like Obama BECAUSE he doesn’t have a lot of time in the Washinton Belt Way. Hopfully he might add some much needed inspiration and leadership that I think niether Hilary or McCain can provide. I mean McCain doesn’t even know who we’re fighting in Iraq.
