cause after you spend $30 for the kit…you get home…“try” to use it, and it blows.
then you’ll have to go spend $50 to buy the actual cartridges.
$50 and knowing what you’re getting > $80 and being pissed off.
not only that, those refil kits can void your warranty.

Buy the brand name ink…costs more, but unless your going through cartridges every week its worth it over the refillable shit.
Most carts keep track anyways so you can’t refill a majority of them. I know lexmark did, and a few other probably do too.
All I do is print text so quality doesn’t matter to me
buy a laser printer… problem solved… they are cheap now and the cartridges last 50 times as long
