Was cruising on home back from HotRodKid’s house after bitching about not getting any runs in this year, and to drop something off. And on my way back a familiar silver & green 91 Mustang GT rev’s at me and does a fly-by. So I catch back up and it was some guy that I met at Lancaster when I had SuperBeater™ out. Also happens he works at a local parts nearby, but he wasn’t aware I had the probe nor anything about it. So I play :snky: and do my best to avoid spooling my turbo through my open down-pipe. Not that he would hear it over his exhaust anyways. (9.4s at lancaster so nothing too impressive)
So he drops it down a gear, I hesitate a bit checking for any near-by donut shops. Coast was clear, so I drop it down into 2nd, start to get the snail moving. We are going about 20 or so, no beeps or anything we both drop the hammer at the same time. The tiny snail instantaniously tosses 9psi of cool evening air into the engine. And much to my suprise even with the tiny bit of lag we are DEAD even up to 50 with no clear victor. He looks over and is like damn is that turbo :bloated:. And asked when I got it, told him I had it for awhile, tossed a  and proceeded to head home.
So at least I got a little taste of racing action this season, and now desprately craving more.
