Program to type on top of PDF?

I have a job application that is in PDF form. They want it filled out and emailed back to them. Instead of printing it out, filling out the blanks with a typewriter, and then scanning it, I would like to fill the application out with my computer. Is there any way to do this?

Can you just use photoshop to save it as an image file, and then go from there?

adobe pro… i think open office might have somethign that has that capablity or office 2007

lol i think u need acrobat writer to do that.

Full version of Adobe will do it.

omfg you called it adobe… and you are an IT person.

FOR THIS I ASHAME OF YOU. this is one of my pet peeves, i fucking hate when people call acrobat “adobe” :stuck_out_tongue:

DISTILLER!

thanks. does anyone have a pirated copy?

yes i do

ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE ADOBE

If I said Acrobat Writer, they’d look at me like , you say Adobe (even though it’s wrong) everyone knows what you are talking about.

if they said adobe distiller they would have no clue

save file to drive, open in paint, use text tool. EZ mode

full version of Adobe Acrobat 8, or my favorite Acrobat plugin application: Enfocus Pitstop (get a trial version from enfocus.com).

another option that a lot of my customer’s use is to open the document in adobe indesign, but you probably don’t have that since you don’t have full reader.

I live in Acrobat as part of my job (production color analyst) and I’m Adobe ACE certified etc… I feel like I’m at work (oh yeah, I am for another hour or so)

adobe distiller = NO
save file to drive = what the hell does that mean? and you can’t open a PDF in Paint. you could do a screen capture and paste that in paint but it will get ugly fast when you try to print.

there was a freeware program that I used to use that had all the acrobat functionality and the ability to print to a PDF aswell, forgot the name though

pdf factory maybe? it was super lightweight… been a while though
