Project: 78' Honda Goldwing

Well I decided I cant stay away from riding. There have just been to many nice beautiful days to not ride. My dad has had this bike since it came out in 78’. It has been under a tarp and has been sitting for atleast 15 - 20 years. So I cleaned it up a little tonight just to see what I am working with. The plan is the tear it down and clean the hell outta it. Flush everything and probably have to do some new brakes and lines and some other things. This bike feels heavier than the celica.

Now for the pics.

If this turns into to much of a heache then I am just scrapping it probably. But it should be able to provide me with some hours or months of fun.

Does anyone know any shop that would have parts in stock for this?

i sell parts for tom clark motorsports. If you go to tomclarksuzuki.com and go to parts there is a microfiche on there. Give me part #'s for what you need and i will check to see if any of the Honda warehouses have the parts you need.

here is a link to the fiche for a 78 GL1000 http://www.tomclarksuzuki.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?category=Motorcycles&make=Honda&year=1978&fveh=3428
just look through add parts to your cart then you have to continue and sign in then it will eventually give you the part numbers. Just save it and e mail me the parts list.
