project 800. (snowmobile)

haha let me know. are you doing 153?

haha this is actually less then the old track. i had 240 in the old track, but was shorter lug. this one is a 1" hacksaw with 192 1.325 signature series studs, aluminum nuts, and lightweight powerplate backers. they measure out to being just over 5/8" penetration past the track. this will hook up alot better, yet is almost 10 pounds lighter then the old setup.

That hood looks awesome.

Track looks like a food processor.

I went with 136 to do the all double backer route and just stagger them as we had talked about.

136 doesn’t sound right lol. Double backers as in 2 per row right? That would be 102 wouldn’t it?

2-2-4 combination. lol Comes out as 136.

hmm…now i remember this conversation! sorry, was tired this morning haha

well i got everything done, took the sled out last week when we had some snow. i still need to adjust the clutching a bit but well see if we get any snow…i can say though that the sled hooks up better and is defineatly quicker, even with the clutching off a bit. this thing is gonna rock when its dialed in

paint work done by andy zion of zeons automotive. he fixed a crack in the hood, resprayed black, and added some airbrushing in(his 3rd time working with true fire). turned out great, especially for not being wetsanded or buffed. hard to take pictures of the flames, really pops in person.

the only things left i want to do on this sled is design an offset axle to run a larger rear idler wheel(doing this over summer) swap my riser to a different one(single bolt on bottom lets it slip, will swap out over summer) and eventually when its time to rebuild the motor, it will be getting some motor work done. im thinking trued and welded crank, 900 topend, maybe some porting…but whoknows when its time to tear into the motor. also wondering what i can do with the lighting…

enjoy the pics. it may just be a zr but ya gotta admit it is pretty badass lol

Really came out sweet. Apparently working on our sleds keeps the snow away. Maybe we’ll get lucky. See you oit there.

I wanna see this thing fly down the runway!
