Project BoseWagen

AWDrifter… The Allroad calls for a et25 offset right? I hear they are tough to find aftermarket wheels for.

[/quote]

The offset shouldn’t be too much of an issue(I hope) because I can fine tune the thickness of my wheel adaptors if need be.

Dex: It will go lower but, that can wait.

Penfold: Thanks. Not a bad family truckster/grocery getter.

Project Bosewagen looses it’s first race.
So I had my wife and daughter in the car with me the other night and figured it would a good time for a street race.
DISCLAIMER: IT WASN’T REALLY A RACE!
A Corvette pulls up next to me at a stop light on Transit and I say to my wife, “He wants to race”.
She laughs at me, I laugh back at her and procede to hit the gas.
When the guy in the Vette realizes just how fast my beast is he takes off like a mo fo and goes flying by us.
The sound was so loud it distrcted me and I missed second gear.
I ALWAYS rip on people when they miss a gear and here I did it myself!!!
In my defense I had only driven the car a few miles and the clutch is much different than other cars I had been driving lately.
Like I said it was not really a race, I was just clowning around in first gear.
I think I could have taken him even though he has 100+ more hp and 1000+lbs less mass.:biglaugh:
Was it anyone on here?

You should have shut him down with a fly-by, followed by hazards. That would have shown him what’s up.

fair enough, good to see you’re manning up about this.

You just keep on racing that thing!

BTW, I’m now a Spec clutch dealer

^ I could see the dollar signs in your eyes when I dropped off 2 audis with a total of 4 turbos.:biglaugh:

I will be back soon for both timing belts and the cv joints.

Any progress on the check engine light?

What color and model was the vette?

Blue or black.
2003 maybe?
The guy was laughing as he shot passed me.

Story…
I bought them for my 200 20v turbo quattro originally but sold the car and wheels to my bro.
Fast forward 4 years.
He used them for winter, I guess he didn’t like them.:gotme: Obviously I like them.
Recently he hit a deer and the ins co. totalled the car.
HE LET THEM TAKE THE CAR!!!
So now some local junkyard has and AWESOME 20v turbo car with minor front end damage!!!
Long story short I got the wheels back with Blizzaks on them.
Oh, and the offset of the ALLROAD is different than any other Audi I have seen so I had to use some of my wheel spacers to make them work.
