Project Revival: bringing my drift slut back to life

The 2006 season in Ontario took a huge toll on my s13. Drift and lapping days twice a month were a bit much for the mildly modified vehicle. So over the winter, I started working on some minor issues, as well as order in some new items to make her better.

Problems/Issues:
-wire harness (over wheel wells) needs to be tucked, they got rubbed hard this year…
-exhaust hangers rusted out, need to fab new section on the rail and weld on new hangers
-header, and cat are gone
-stage 2 cams are not timed right, needs to be tuned
-minor body work on rust spots
-control arms, brackets, rods, etc, all fried, rusted or broken
-TC Brackets rusted, one broken
-etc, etc, etc…

Solution:
Re-adjust Cams
Install new Header
Install new clutch and plate, throw-out bearing
Engine Damper
Apex’I S-AFC I
Weld new mounting plate/hooks for muffler hanger
Install a new high-flow cat
PDM Hangers
stainless steel Clutch Cable
Replace control arms with new ones from PDM Racing
Power Brace
Replace sway-bar end-links (front/rear)
Install sub-frame collars in the rear
Front and Rear ball-joints
Tie Rod Ends (inner and outer)
new short shifter
rear valences
PDM Wheel Spacers (20mm, 25mm oh yeah)

the project is being headed up by my good friend Nick in Kitchener Ontario, where my car is right now. Most of the parts have come in (see pics below). Once he is finished both his car and mine, I will get the car shipped out - I’m hoping for late May early June, and he himself will be moving out here to Calgary as well then.
I can’t wait for this years track scene, and look forward to seeing some of you out there!

Leo.
