PRP track prep ??????

Is the PRP track prep really that bad? I’m always reading that it is.

Any race track I’ve been to some people complain about track prep but I’ll do a 3’ wheel stand. Granted, I’ve been to PRP when between rounds they prep an area about 3’ X 3’ when they used to prep a good 10’ out or so between rounds. They should prep to the 60’ between between rounds.

Is the track prep at PRP really that bad?

Just curious because I want to come down and race their before the season is over but I’m being scared away because of all the comments about poor track prep.

Do they prep good for the regular racing???

A few years ago PRP was the shit but now I am wondering.

it sucks thats why i havnt been around this whole year up there. but i dont think the slick cars are having that much problem. its more the street tires for some reason

they only prep for the slick cars and its a small amount of area… the first pass of the day is the street cars and its nto prepped. its not till you get to about round 3 where traction is some what there. yesterday they werent even putting water down for the street class. i wasnt watching hte slick cars.

it seemd some nights they had prep down but some days they dont

yesterday being one, you figure when someoen rolls their car you would then decide to prep the track…nope

it sucks

i also have had good days and bad days involving traction. some days they seem to actually do a decent job. on others tho, doesnt seem like much.

my car on et streets doesnt have a problem with traction at all, since its a weaker car. heat em up and just go. it doesnt need much prep. but i feel bad for the guys with the faster cars.

but the prep they actually do is far from adequate. we need to get something done about this

1.286 Sixty for me today :ugh2:

Your tires are bigger than my car. j/k Nice short time.

u said u havent been there is awhile, not being a dick, soo how do u know what its like?

i been hearing ( one time seen them prepping some more for the slick cars but i dont pay attention all that much) they prep more for the slick cars than the street cars… slick cars dont seem to be having problems cuz they get good traction with extra prep they put down for them.
