PS3 80G or 160G and why

I’m a video game :noob:. I have a PS2 somewhere but I’m lost on the memory part of it. What does the extra memory enable you to do??

I mainly want one for the Blu-ray but it may institute a video game revival of sorts for me. Haven’t played much in the last 10 years.

Get the smallest HD one for the cheapest you can find and toss in a larger hard drive. (Uses standard 2.5" SATA hdd)

The extra space is just like a computer gives you more storage space.

Save movies, games, music, pics, game saves, the list goes on and on. Honestly you will be fine with the 80g…but that is up to you.

Thanks. That’s the advice I was looking for. I will probably never miss it anyway.

You dont need the space. The things that take up alot of space like movies and music can be streamed from your PC with free apps like media center or TVersity.

You can always replace the drive with a bigger one or use a regular USB drive for more space.
