my CEL came on after i fueled up. im pretty sure my gas cap wasnt done up properly which triggered an EVAP code.
i have a 1995 s14. ka24de
the manufactured date is sept of 1994. so its obd1.
i tightend the gas cap up, disconnected the battery but my CEL is still on. it could be that it has nothing to do with the evap leak, if there was one at all.
anyways, my klze mx3 that i owned for the passed 4 years, under the hood was a diagnosticsm box, if i jumped two ports (ten and grnd) with the ignition in the on the position i could count the flashes and then look up what code had been thrown. ive done this a few times.
is there anything like this for my s14?
i searched for this in the search menu, didnt come up with any usefull information.
