puppies and babies :)

i agree

Someone sold a puppy at 6 weeks or less? That either came from a puppy mill or someone who had no idea what they were doing.

Yeah, they can tear shit up.
But I mean dogs playing with one another and biting and knawing a few toes off is different.

I was more getting at to eat a babies foot is kinda fucking nuts.
That someone should be watching the damn puppy.

ok, it sounds like the parents were drunks. Doh…

It is the parents responsibility to protect thier child. They should have put the kid to bed, not leave him/her on the ground in a baby chair. Thats fucking dumb.

I don’t think they should lose the kid though, I’m sure they will get him/her back soon.

They didn’t get the kid taken because of what’s in the story. They got the kid taken away because of what wasn’t reported.

I guarantee they were drunk, high, or both to sleep through a screaming kid with a puppy chewing on the kid’s toes.

Plus the rest of the story paints a picture of your average deadbeats:

-They were sleeping on a “mattress” not a bed
-The kid was in an “infant seat” (carseat?) not a crib
-They own a 6 week old pit bull (way too young to be out of the litter, obviously came from somewhere illegitimate)
-The pitbull had no shots

Here’s how it went down:

Parents: “The dog chewed on our kid’s toes.”
Social Worker: “Where were you.”
Parents: “Asleep next to our kid”
Social Worker: “You didn’t wake up? Wasn’t your kid crying?”
Parents: “He was crying when we woke up. His foot had already been chewed.”
Social Worker: “He must have started crying right away. Why didn’t you wake up?”
Parents: “Umm, we were in a deep sleep.”
Social worker exercises judgement and realizes that this story doesn’t add up and calls child protection services.

THEY WERE ALL SLEEPING! :hay:

THEY WERE ALL SLEEPING! :hay:

Deadbeat? We don’t know. But they could have been poor too? Hell they could have been well off, and just had a matress on the floor in a den or something, and took a nap. Do you have kids? Do you know how exhausting taking care of an infant is? If you are constantly exhausted, how hard is it to sleep through something? Think about that.

The dog having shots/being older would not prevent it from knawing on some toes by any means  That’s what dogs do.

I’m not saying it’s conclusive that they’re deadbeats. It’s just that all signs point that way. I wasn’t pointing out the dogs age or lack of shots to blame the dog, I was pointing it out as further evidence that the parents are irresponsible.

I hope you’re wrong.

Crying baby = alarm clock.

Wailing baby getting its toes eaten = Hiroshima

I need to get some puppies to eat a few little kids I know…

Me too.

Yeah but how can ya sleep so long with a screaming baby to the point her toes were chewed off? I Wake up the instant my kid crys. There’s no way anything would have that much time to do that much damage. NO WAY IN HELL!

Bump for Spina Bifida.

I was wrong. My apologies to the parents for jumping to conclusions.

Man, my dog used to lick my toes when he was a puppy.

I cant even imagine the guilt. Thats horrible. Poor kid too.
