thats terrible they would put her in a foster home… its not like they purposely fed the toes to the puppy… sad.
holy…… shit
Yikes
Talk about over-reaction. Why is it they can’t hire normal, sane, objective people to work for social services?
i agree, its not like they left her in the back seat of a car during summer or something… it was an accident.
if the house caught fire and the child was in her bedroom and got smoke damage in her lungs would they take the child away for the same situation? proly not, but because of it being a pet… ugghhh lame
Have pitbulls been “line-bred” into retardation?
its a puppy, they chew on anything, espcially if it moves around, they just think its a toy. Its neither the parents’ nor the dog’s fault.
I know about puppies.
They will eat anything.
but I have never seen one attempt to eat a babies foot.
And it’s not the parents fault?..?
They should keep a fucking eye on their kid.
even more so with a small animal in the house.
Why was the baby sitting around in a car seat while the parents slept?!
it is the parents fault, but thats not in anyways a reason to take the child from them, it was an accident.
now why the kid was in a car seat is a completley different question entirely.
What was it? A shack? Who sleeps on just a matress these days besides hippies
my future puppy will be a good dog. poor kid.
Isn’t obvious, they were driving at the time, but wanted to sleep off some alcohol.
I am sure trying to explain to your child for the rest of his/her life why he/she has no toes is punishment enough.
My bet is, there’s probably a lot more to the story.
who has a custom matress embedded in their car? haha that rocks.
That sux to know your 'rent a sooo dumb at that young of an age. i took me till ~15
I have a matress in my vehicle :gotme:
yea word… they were looking out for the kid … they didn’t wanna crash while driving drunk
:word: Babies fucking cry at the drop of a hat, God knows that kid must have been screaming as soon as the dog bit down the first time. Yet the parents didn’t wake up? :eyebrow: The untold reason why the parents didn’t wake up is probably the reason that the kid is in a foster home now.
AND the story suggests that the 6 week old pit bull was the only dog there. ANY dog that is 6 weeks old should still be with the breeder and its litter. That’s probably why it was trying to “nurse” on the kids toes. A 6 week old puppy is for all practical purposes a newborn.
AND the dog had no shots.
AND they were sleeping on a mattress while the kid was sleeping in a chair of some type.
I bet the rest of the story includes that the family’s living in poverty, no crib for the kid, parents alcoholics, etc.
You have never had a puppy chew on your finger because it was teething? (however you spell that). Puppies i’ve had, have chewed apart wooden chairs. Plus there is the chance the puppy thought the baby was another puppy and was just trying to play with him. And yes, puppies do play hard enough that they draw blood. My two dogs have scars on them from when they were puppies and would bite and pull each other around.
