What radiators are you guys running? My OEM one kinda pooped the bed after 15years, so i’m running a civic one in my integra but it’s half the size, and still the same width so i want to upgrade to a more efficient one
What would you recomend? I’ve heard good things about the Koyo half sizes, theyre beefy as fuck but they are like 260$ with no fan
This seemed like a pretty decent one, plus it comes with a fan and a nice mount: it’s made by CXRacing, which makes the Ebay intercoolers a lot of people run with success
koyos are fantastic. In your honda, best bang for the buck radiator around is mishimoto IMO. Cheap and great. Not ebay crappy made cheap for 100 bucks, but not baller koyo for 400 either. Call Paul at swerve for pricing. I think they’re somewhere right around $200 off the top of my head, but you’ll need to call to get an actual price.
like these guys said the mishimoto is a solid piece. i have installed many of them in 240’s and the quality is awesome.
and u sure cant beat the prices on them for what ur getting
What i am looking at, is the mishimoto ones are either full size integra radiators (i need half size) , or they are civic ones(half size)
the only problem is that they are exactly the same, just cut directly in half, would i run into any cooling issues or anything like that?
(i can’t see how a b16 has a halfsize and a b18 needs a full size?)
and never have to worry about cooling again, you can build the baddest nastiest sleaved motor/turbo setup and that will keep it cool … all for a little over the price of the mishimoto itself
Not sure what options you have for your specific car OP, I have a Fluidyne in mine…FAL 220/240 fans (got them for a good deal, otherwise I would’ve gotten better) and no problems as long as the fuse doesn’t blow haha.
pretty much any halfsize aluminum radiator will work well, i would stay away from the 3" thick ones as they start to interfere with turbo parts etc and the dual core work just fine
like he said^^ mishimoto work great, and if he can get you one cheap locally i always try to support the locals
