Maybe this is why?

lol. patch those up and drive your car!

So I dOnt think it was the battery after all.
I picked up a new one, took out my volt meter at the batt read 12.4
Put it in the car, hook it up and nothing. No power, or anything. Put the volt meter back on the terminals and still12.4
Should have done that in the 1st place DUUUH

Anyways I checked all the fuses under the hood and there was only one blown fuse. Horn…that won’t case it
I checked the 120A battery fuse and its good. What else do you guys think it could.
I hate electrical

um you have at least 4 broken wires that I can see in the picture. those are kinda important

Yea, ill be patching those up tonight.
I was thinking though…maybe its just a wire for something no important…

STAAAAAAAAAY TUUUUNED

Seems like you got quite a project on your hands.

How’s Jelani?

Wow im unfucking some wiring on my camaro but this makes me feel much better about the work I have to do lol

Good luck

Time to start soldering

J is doing aight

yea i know, i got my soldering gun warming up

So I fixed the wires, put the new battery in and nothing.
Decided to clean the terminals and clean the area up where the new ground is and it started up.
Car started and ran fine.
Thanks guys. Going to the shop tomorrow.
Updates to follow

hah, told ya so :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha yes you did and thanks
The terminals were pretty bad and the new spot I picked had primer and paint on top.
Not to mention the bracket for the ground was shoty too.
You saved me from breaking my back trying to push the car up a ramp
Hah

def make a before and after thread i know that thing got pretty banged up so itl be a nice resto

Just an update
Parts are in and almost ready for paint
Everything has turned out great, im very happy with how this has been going
I would have been done sooner but having to leave town slowed me down.
Anyways heres a quick pic before paint
