my brother has a 96 sunfire, and 97 cavvyz24,
i was wondering if any of the suspension parts will swap…mainly the lower control arm?
he was in an accident, and bent the fawk outta the control arm and steering arm, and suprisingly it has no frame damage

all j-body(cavalier/sunfire) suspension parts from 95-05 are interchangeable. So yes, you can swap the control arms

Thats good news, how about the axel? and maybe a door? theyre both 2drs . Im trying to fix it without putting as much money into it as possible. Thanks for the help
you can swap the doors, you’ll just need to carry over/uninstall power accessories if one car had it and the other didn’t. as far as the axles, i’m gonna say that you can’t swap them. However, I don’t have any experience in that department, so you might want to check with someone else on that one.
yes the axles will swap! providing they both have the same transmissions (older models like those would have the isuzu 5spd or the th125c (3speed) auto or the 4t40e (4spd auto)
Im pretty sure that they are both 4 spd autos. The fact that ones a 2.2 and the others 2.4 wouldnt matter? That would be great to be able to take them off my other car. Also i know for a fact that my cavy has a t tranmission(?). I dont know if that mattters but yea thanks again!
