09-14-2005: I no longer own the moldy Infiniti M45.
I got rid of it. I took a loss which is the difference between what I would have expected to get for a BBB forced Infiniti BuyBack and the trade-in price I accepted for the car. An Infiniti dealer somewhere will end up with the moldy M45 and the car is now Infiniti’s problem, not mine. Hopefully Infiniti will do what is necessary to eliminate the mold (if it’s even possible) before selling it to an unsuspecting customer. Infiniti Consumer Affairs can track down the car by the VIN and do what is necessary, it’s their problem now.
I can get over the $$$ loss, I can’t get over the heath issues the moldy M45 was causing me. My doctor cannot say if my mold induced health issues will end now that I’m out of the moldy Infiniti M45. I can only hope for my health to return to my healthy pre-moldy Infiniti M45 days…
My claim against Infiniti is the $$$ difference between what I would have received from a BuyBack and the trade-in price I accepted for the car. I know it will be a cold day in hell before Infiniti ever pays me the $$$ they owe me, but I still make the claim.
Not every fight is worth the time or the expense. Life is too short. I lost thosands of dollars, maybe I can win back my health…
He’s trying to get reimbursed for his loss, what a shitty deal :nay:
I’ll bet the car was a flood victim that he picked up really cheap. You can now check (for free) on carfax.com to see if your ride was a flood victim.
it’s always buyer beware.
