Just curious to see if anyone in here messes with r/c cars or i should say is into racing. I know there was one guy on here that was into it that i sold some stuff to awhile back. Pics of my fleet. :naughty:

used to be pretty hard core into it with a losi xx-t and a xx buggy… used to race at wagon hill in butler . and before it closed east street in verona and the little parking lot track in latrobe… now i have a nitro 4 tec and its fast but not as much fun as stadium trucks
wow east street. Yea that place closed right before i just started racing. I remember i used to go down there and practice alot and then when i got ready to race they closed. Wagonhill was cool also. xx and xxt turned the sport into a whole diffrent level when they came out. Do you mean adam and eve’s in latrobe??
yea me and my buddy rob went there for the very first parking lot race and cleaned house i put some old lx-t rims with low profoam on and and lapped the pack like 5 times … bruce the old guy running it was like dont came back for a few weeks lets these guys get some practice
lol yea bruce. Hes still up there. Yea they actually have a indoor place now thay they switched over to. Do you remember any of the guys names you raced with down at east street cause theres a good bit of guys that race at the track i race at now that used to run down there? www.mcculloughs-offroad.com
man thats been a while… rob rabinstien, jim lonzo, some guy and his 2 sons the only name i remember was the little brother cause the older one used to yell GUS get ma truck ALOT…some dude that looked like a beatnik… thats all i remember
gus and matt dobsnak or something like that.lol. yea they actually got back into it last year for awhile.i’ve not seen them since. What about Shawn rosenau or rickey wright?? I know they were pretty good back then and they’re still into it. Maybe ed godula? or the chronister brothers. Yea east st was a def a cool place. Just sucks when something like that comes to an end cause of all of the money you’ve invested into it then theres no where to race.
I was into it pretty big. I was a member of the the NR/CTPA (national radio controlled truck pulling association) I still have a Clodbuster, two super blackfoots and two on-road tamiya VW bugs ( i forget the chassis name) steelcity hobby is supposed to have a track at their store.
Yea steelcity does have a track. Is a roadcourse but its really nice. Thats cool. I always wanted to build something that could compete in nr/ctpa but could never fork out the extra cash for something like that. ahh haaa the blackfoot. I think anyone who has even been into rc has ran into a blackfoot. That was one of my 1st rc cars.
i never went far with the modded racers, i was in the stock clodbuster class of the NRCTPA. I still want a built to the hilt tube chassis monster truck built like Gravedigger.
pms?
penile measurement syndrome?
i have one like the pic below. it’s a 1/8scale kyosh landmax. 4wd nitro rally car
Yea my brother was into those nitro cars. Gave me a 4wd Buggy. Fast as hell. And a tmaxx. Pretty fast to with reverse. Neet little buggers. Maybe ill post pics in the for sale ads
my buddy has tons, and one giant one with a weedwacker motor on it
im pretty old-school. i have an old tamiya boomerang from when i was little. it runs pretty good. i also have a kyosho nitro powered ZR1 corvette from back in the day too. im sure that surprises noone
that zr1 is old as piss
yep. i like it tho…im all about c4s. but as far as r/c cars off-road cars r alot more fun.
i’ve been wanting a black c4 for a lil bit now, like about an 89 with some chrome 1990 style Zr1’s on it.
