Interesting concept. I’d like to see how it stacks up against PDX1 on the FBI ballistics tests (the tests PDX1 aced when the FBI selected it as their new carry round).

I agree, I carry pdx1 in my carry revolver. The RIP ammo is a cool concept but the whole 96 grain bullet steers me away. I dont think it will penetrate as deep as say the 130grain pdx1.
I was going to come back here last night to mention the same thing. Needed to check the boxes of PDX1 I have and it’s a 147 grain in 9mm and 95 grain in .380. RIP’s fancy round is nice but you’re talking about a lot less energy when you go from 147 grain to 96 in 9mm. I’d be really skeptical of their future .380 round because it’s going to be about has heavy as an airsoft pellet.

The FBI put a lot of time developing an ammunition test that would cover just about any defensive situation you could encounter and PDX1 came out on top of that test.
Giving civilians a much needed chance when it comes to self defense. Lol
So they won’t sell these to the baddies.
