Okay, so let’s start this off with a quick summary of the project. It’s an 86 rx7 fc with an Rb25det under the hood and a whole bunch of bullshit to make it do its thing.
Now the issue I’m having is making the cluster work 100%. The engine came from the importer with the usual cut harness crap. The cluster came from some guy in Hong Kong via eBay. I got tach, water temp, oil pressure and signal indicators working but the speedo is fighting. I basically need a way to get the signal directly from the VSS to the cluster and exactly how the wiring for that needs to be done.
As its not an s13 I can’t tap into the old lower harness, only to the pig tail on the back of the cluster. Right now one wire from the sender goes to ground and the other straight to the 2p yellow and green wire on the cluster.
