Random engine stall...

I was driving on yellowhead to work this morning when with no warning my engine shuts off. I tried to restart but it wouldn’t start. The engine would crank and I could hear the fuel pump but it didnt seem like there was any spark. I let the engine cool down and tried after 20 minutes and then it started back up like nothing was wrong. Same thing happened on the way home. Let it sit and it cranked over after twenty minutes. I replaced the starter, fuel pump ignition module about three months ago. Any idea what could cause this random stall/trouble starting?

Sorry forgot to mention this is for a `91 240SX with a KA24DE

Anyone?

ignitor.

x2

Sorry for my stupidity but is an ignitor different then an ignition module?

IGNITOR ON KA… usses 3wire plug and sitts on ur coil bracket …next to the coil.
What you have expirienced is either coil or ignitor giving out.Check the 30 amp fuse in the engine bay box by the batt.

Kind of funny i was in Jamaica and we took a cab. Than car just went flat dead in the mountains. When he cranks i smell fuel , than i checked for spark got uno. Fuse was ok. So we took another cab back to hotel and next day i see same cabbie outside waiting 4 fares. “He was hey mon u were right damn coil burned out.”
