rb20 power steering hicas pump to non hicas ?

Ok so the situation is the power steering pump that came on my rb20 is a hicas pump and my setup is non hicas

whats the best way of switching over i know buying a non hicas pump is a option but is there a simple solution with the existing pump … block off the rear outlet ? has anyone done this before or have some insight on the situation

any help or solutions would be appreciated

I believe you remove the rear cover, remove the vanes inside and then block off the rear outlet. There’s a write up somewhere online with pics, I just can’t find it right now
