Anyone know what the differences are between these two mafs? They seem to be the same diameter but the z32 is always more money. Usually at least double. How about the q45? Although it is bigger, again the z32 is more money…on ebay that is.
RB mafs max out at about 250hp. They run a dual maf system from the factory.
You can get the same N60 mafs off a maxima.
i believe the z32 mafs max out at 500hp. tomei makes an adpater to make it fit the sr, or u can just hard wire it.
q45 is rated at about 280hp, so i figure the maf can handle about that much HP, not sure what it maxes out at though.
the popularity and rarity of the z32 TT is probably the reason why they are so much. u may want to inquire on how much NIssan would charge, and if its not that big of a difference, but the new one, at least u know its not tampered with or defective.
I got my Z32 MAF off someone from a Z32 forum for $180CAD shipped to
my door. And this included the MAF, filter adapter, and about 6" of wire
harness. Practically mint.
Look around on ebay or Z32 clubs and Im sure you’ll find one at a good
price.
