there is no point in arguing wiht you guys or saying this saying that. i have the recipits still in my car.
the mounts i never bought form you. so i guess you gusy are telling me im the only one tht had ever had any problems iwht mckinny motor mounts? that come wiht a life tiem warrenty. and you guys took these mounts and fixed them? by copying htem and now are selling ?
for all the members on son that have seen my car and seen the problems that were on my car they can understand my situation.
the only reason i brought it to you guys bwere because u said that you gusy ahve done this previously. but form the work and qustions you guys had for me. i know its my fault for not doing my researacch and beliving everyting i hear from a shop. i know it def wont hapen again.
This is the reason why I never let anybody/shop work on my car other than my immediate friends/family that know what they’re doing. Not knocking on you Intense Motorsports but this situation should be a lesson for you guys too. If I had a shop I would never agree to do work on someones car that has potentially had poor work done to it unless they agreed to pay whatever it took to un-do/fix the previous problems first. Good post though Justin and people should really understand this situation first before making any more assumptions about both parties.
Bahaha! Are you serious?! Please name a shop in Toronto that someone hasnt bashed for doing shitty work on. This happens all the time, its par for the course. Someone is bound to feel ripped off regardless of the job done. If you own a shop eventually someone will bash you. The internet makes it even worse these days.
Shops like Intense, SG, TAG, etc. quote a price and stick close to it, sometimes they lose money because of that. They arent like dealerships that will quote you a price and if they need to do 10 hours of extra labour because the car is rusted or needs un-fucking they will charge you for it or you dont get your car back. In my opinion thats the way shops should be run but guess what everyone modding their cars is too cheap and doesnt realize its not a simple process (even though it may seem like it) when adding something that wasnt designed from the factory.
It is really not necessary to belabour this point any further. Someone had a bad experience with Intense, that’s fine. No one is perfect and not every job goes as planned. Intense’s work, their own cars and what they do in the community is as much a testament to their character and ability as is Sasha’s with his z33’s.
We wont cover up these issues on SON just because some shops or members support us, that would be a disservice to everyone, but we will also not allow open season criticism on anyone who is a long standing member of the community no matter the capacity.
