Real "Biggest Loser" Participants Thread

Personally for biceps i really like ezbar curls, i wish i had a setup to do preacher curls, because i would love to replace an exercise with them

chest i really like flat db flies

tri’s i like ezbar extensions while laying on a bench

if you can, try some cable pushdowns for tri’s as well, i dont have the equipment at my house but i used to do them at school and used to have pretty decent sized triceps

back i like barbell rows, i dont do deadlifts, bb rows are actually my only back exercise

i would go off trial an error, see what exercises suit you best, and what you’re comfortable with and go from there

how much time do you guys normally spend in the gym?

i personally like cardio just because it makes you feel great afterwards. i could careless about the results from doing them, and ive already stated my previous reasons

I like reverse tricep pull downs, and reverse Ez-bar curls but i mix up my arm workouts with 2 different excercises. snkysnky

im the only person I have ever seen doing deadlifts at planet fitness/world gym, (not to say it doesn’t happen but ive never seen it)

yeah i seen this older guy doing them but havent seen him in awhile. Now i can do more then him lol.

Only thing that i always think about is should i ever decide to use a belt for them? I heard its worse for your back because it doesnt let your core muscles get stronger and then POP! I dont want to have a bad back when im older, but i want MASS!!!

4 days of bench?! Thats awesome, I couldn’t do it.

For your tricep based days, dips are a good way to finish the workout off.

Do you do any shoulder press workouts? 21 gun salute is a good workout, I usually stand with dumbbells.

And how many sets of each are you doing? This is a pretty solid core workout, hits pretty much everything. :tup:

word… Drew got me onto that routine. love it. I typically start with a light 15min. elipitcal warm up and finish up with 10-15mins of sprints. Sprints kick my ass.

lol well i dont go nuts on the bench i usually stop at 185/205 so its not that bad.

i usually do 4-5 sets of each workout with about 10-12 reps of each.
