So i’m on my way to work yestersay morning and i see a new Red Mustang GT Conv cruisin’ on the highway. I admired the car and cruised behind him for a bit…tried to see if there was a young guy driving it (turned out to be a middle aged guy)…He was just cruising, nothing ever materialized…a few minutes later, with the mustang slightly in front of me, but in the left lane next to me, out of the corner of my eye i see a blue modded WRX roll up. The WRX wasn’t able to pass me b/c the Stang was in his way…I get on the gas a little to allow the WRX to get around the Stang & ofcourse the WRX rolls right beside me w/ the passenger “eyein’ me up”…I dropped it into 4th gear and punch it, the WRX follows…Takes him a few seconds but he finally catches me and passes me (shooting flames out the exhaust in the process…haha)…We did another pull, but this time i downshifted into 3rd…Same thing happened, WRX blew by me.
This is the first time, i’ve encountered a stranger on the road with a significantly faster car than mine (that actually wanted to run)…Had to happen eventually right???
MAN I REALLY NEED TO START MODDING SOON!

Haha. No WGA’s for me until i upgrade the ecu. I learned my lesson the hard way (twice)!!! spiking @ 25lbs+, CEL’s, Pulled timing & horendous part throttle boost isn’t fun. Still tryin to decide if i wanna go “big turbo” or if i should milk the stocker for everything it has…
Yeah everyone sez s1 is the foundation for srt modding. I’m torn between s1and 2. I like the fact that s2 comes with the 3 bar sensors that would allow me to run 20+ lbs w/o much issue, plus the bigger injectors. I was thinking of maybe running s2 w/o toys, a forge wga, 3" O2 housing, 3"inch dp (cat or no cat?) & a custom 3" single tip catback courtesy of 1st try engineering…i’ll figure it out sooner or later…lets not even talk about traction…lol…that’s a whole other beast in itself
fuck stage 1. stage one is good enough to waste money. stage one pulls more timing with knock than stage 0 does. hell stage 0 is easier to tune also. you can always trick the pcm and it will never affect you. im doin the no cat code deleat i have an even stricter computer than you and i have no problem with anything on 17psi
