I just put in a new deck in my s13 but my stock power antenna is snapped causing really poor reception. Now a friend of mine has a 300 and he rigged the rear defrost to act as an antenna by arcing the antenna wire has anyone tryed this does it work and if so does it cause any other problems?
i think u have to have a hatch to do that…cause the top defroster line is actually a antenna. i think u might need some stuff from the original deck or wiring thing to do that stuff.
I have a hatch my buddy said all i needed was copper wire. it worked on his 300 just double checking to make sure it works on the 240’s as well
