We all know that the rear alignment adjusters in our cars suck from the factory and we can get little adjustment out of them, meaning we need to spend some coin on a decent adjustable multi link setup. Now here is my predicament, while going with aftermarket arms, I want to delete the finicky eccentric bolts in the rear of my car, and in turn also hopefully help out other members. I know through research SPL makes an eccentric delete kit with proper block off plates, only thing is I have not found any reviews on this and whether or not it is compatible with other brands multi link setups. So essentially I want to know if anyone else has experimented with other means to do this as I would like something more local and more easily attainable the SPLs are very affordable anyways). I have heard of a few members on this site just running standard bolts, but I forget exactly who they were and how they did it.
Listen. If you don’t have the money to buy the lockout kits, just use the stock adjusters. I always set them fully inboard, to make the arm as long as possible for the toe and camber arm. Just tigthen it there and it’s not going to move.
The lockout kit is centering kit is really only needed if you’re swapping arms all the time or taking apart the suspension and want to go without an alignment.
Thanks for the advice guys. Don’t get me wrong, money’s not the issue in any way it’s the availability of SPL locally and me being impatient. I just wanted to clarify what I’ve been hearing about people just using straight bolts with no block off plates/lockout kits. If the stock eccentric bolt does indeed work perfectly fine with multilink, then I’ll just end up using those.
