Rear end does a weird jerking motion when drivin over bumps

My 240 was in an accident on the 401 in some rainy weather when the rear wheels hydroplaned. I lost control hit a guard rail and slid a bit…

The car was repaired by a buddy i know who owns a body shop…(a buddy but still charges plenty $$)…

The ride height of the car after the accident was pretty height and the rear end would do this weird thing when ever going over bump on the highway…

When driving on the highway, I’d hit a bump and the car would rise (like it should) but then on the way back down it was like the car would try to sit or set it self again…(almost like a quick jerk or dancing motion)

I bought lowering springs to get rid of the monster truck look. When I did the car wasn’t doing the weird jerk motion as bad going over bumps…but it would still do it… :x

When inspecting under the car with my local mechanic there seems to be no visable signs of anything bent or worn (ie.bushings etc)…Could this be my shocks, stabilizer bar, LCA…I’m stumped :?

I need some suggestions…the car is bad to drive on the highway especially in the rain

if its bump steer check your traction rod bushings, do you have hicas? if you do your tie rods are probably toast

if its not that check for blown strut my car had the same problem and it was corrected by changing drivers side strut u can check this by pushing down on one side of the car than the other if its real soft and boucny than youve found the problem, but u should have checked your struts when you installed the lowering springs…

hope this helps you
