1979 trans am
455 olds motor approx 450hp 550tq
2500 stall
currently 4.10s
car spins alot and tops out very quick
what is the current topspeed about with a th350 4.10s 275x15 tires and a redline of 5600
and what ratio is reccomended for this setup
would 355,s make it faster or slower in the 1/8th mile considering the motor has the torque to pull the lower gears
not necessarily…especially if it tops out before the 1/8"…and if there is excessive wheel spin at the launch…i dont know alot about this but i think 3.73s would be a better choice…little more street able and coudl help with the wheel spin…Skunky had 4.10s in his Mustang…he hated them…he spun halfway down the track on street tires on a lightly modded 5.0
