Picture: H&R camber bolt (left) vs. stock camber bolt (right)
I’ve got these bolts for the rear because I couldn’t justify the cost of plates in the rear when I’m only trying to dial out a half of degree of camber permanently.
If I jack up the car and adjust the bolts, the camber adjusts fine. However, if the suspension is loaded, i.e. the car is on an alignment machine etc., the bolts basically stop working and just turn and turn without changing any camber.
Well, camber bolts are supposed to be adjusted in the loaded postition. So dont bother screwing with them without load on the supension. As for them not adjusting, are you verifying this on an alignment machine, or just visually?
I’d start by checking for wear on the assemblies where the eccentric makes contact.
