now, this LOOKS like a nice bar, and for $25 US, you really can’t go wrong. but in its description, it says, and i quote
“The Rear lower tie bar has been designed to reduce chassis flex to improve steering response and stability. Install between the rear axle.”
chassis flex between a solid rear axle? there is no flex, is there? i could see flex in a wishbone design, ehhum, honda, but not in a rwd nissan product.
just wondering if its a show piece, or if it is for real, and actually has some benefit performance wise. your feedback would be much appreciated
i think people get the impression that because of the design there is inherent flex.
i’m not a technician of any sort, so i cant explain it that well, but i am using heims in my car now and when they are bolted in they simply cannot flex in the direction you are supporting.
yeah, I kinda thought that was the whole reason they were applauded.
Dunno, maybe some people are having problems with actually locking them in, I dunno.
I am curious though, I’ve got some serious suspension stuffs in the works right now, and if you’ve come across some heim = bad info, I’d love to read it before I waste any more money.
FYI… but that things not going to come out to be 25 usd. its the auction price plus 15 usd for shipping (for within us… so if its to canada its prob 10 bucks more) then with 20/30 brokerage.
