Red GTP VS Black EG Civic, one week ago

i was cruising down by the river on the highway one week ago around 9pm…

came up on a red ?97-02? GTP (possibly a coupe) with clear/white tail lenses. that itself caught my attention, because they looked slightly out of place on the car. obviously i didn’t stand a chance, but i thought it’d be fun to see if the guy found anything to run. followed it for about a mile, when this black EG civic jumped in from behind us. both cars dropped down a gear and took off, weaving in and out of traffic. the GTP must have been extremely quick, or the EG driver must have gotten bored, because the civic backed off and just cruised with traffic for the next mile or so (sounded like he was in 3rd gear for that part LOL).

just wondering if you guys are on here? regardless, just a cool thing to see on a thursday night.

tell me about it, i have a friend with a red 98 GTP 4dr. quick as hell, plus it’s a pretty convincing sleeper.
