Redroof's MR2 Resurrection... Part III

nevaaa

AMEN…unless ofcourse money get tight

If you don’t have the funds to build a project, you should never start it.

This thing will be an AutoX beast, can’t wait.

Eric is really good at resisting peer pressure to get off his ass and fix the car. I’ve even offered to come over and work on it by myself. ;D

Well, I’ll be more than happy to take you up on that when it’s time to start yanking out crooked sheetmetal.

At the moment, nothing more can be done as I wait for parts to arrive.

^^^ See this is the crap I’m talking about.

Hows resurrection going?

Eric is so good at not working on his car just to spite me that he went to Puerto Rico for the week and is drinking rum on a beach somewhere. Fucker.

Here’s the progress I’ve made:

First, I set up my project workspace in the backyard. Note the elevated hot tub and waterfall effect.

After setting up the workspace, I proceeded to imbibe several Mojitos and promptly forgot about everything else.

Realizing the supplies were running low, I went back to the facility to replenish my stock.

After that, I hit the beach and tried to give a shit about my car that’s still in pieces. 2 drinks later, I forgot I had a car.

In all, a good time. Next month I may actually have pictures of the car.

Sweet build up pics!! Hahahhahaha hilarious man… :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

another car id like to see done… bump!

He got mad at us for knocking Rspeed and said he wont be back :idiots

Which is just a convenient excuse for just plain not finishing the car, ERIC.

Maybe I should send him an email

“Redroof, we miss you” :ninja

awesome pics bro! i don’t blame you one bit!

Do it, use the same template as rspeed and everything

Fine. I’ll admit it. I’ve been lazy and busy, so I haven’t accomplished much.
Now I have a new job and more free time, so hopefully this project can move along after I grab a new daily driver.

In the meanwhile, I’ve been experimenting with some spare body panels…

Is that fiberglass?

Whats the new job?

Nope, it’s actually a spare metal trunk. Looks like fiberglass under the lights.
New job has me doing outside sales with Napa in the east greenbush/delmar/glenmont/menands area. Basically i’m visiting shops and businesses and making sure everything’s going smoothly, ordering what they need and keeping them happy.
I get to make my own hours, so I have the ability to be done earlier in a day if I can plan for it. 12 hours a day, 5 days a week at the previous job was dragging me down.
Mr2 will see more work with the extra free time and I can finally switch out of my daily beater saturn coupe for something a little more practical and comfy.
