I disagree. But who am I to argue America’s long term financial outlook. Just have an opinion like everyone else. I feel the only ones who have been adn will continue to be effected most are those who chose to invest in pieces of paper on the St. of Wall.
I hope your right but disagree. The issue isnt just with the banks, it’s what the US has done in the past and is now doing to dig itself out. Anyone that uses a US dollar bill in the future will feel it. All in good time.
The economics nerd in me has been reading all of the economics periodicals I’ve been getting since freshman year. I used to just toss them away but there’s some seriously unprecedented stuff going on right now. Economists are going to make a fortune 50 years from now writing books about it.
I would also say that right now it depends on where you are so to speak as far as “feeling” the recession goes. If your living on a very tight budget and your income hasn’t changed for the better, you will feel it more than someone who is in a better financial situation. As far as job security goes there are business venues that are actually thriving right now and a some that are failing due to the economy.
As far as I am concerned i’m doing well. My stocks are making me about 27% right now and my business is growing 30 -50% every month. (Which ties in directly to our commercial client base). But I am also aware of the economic situation and how it could make a very bad turn.
So I think it depends on where you sit financially and how you have used your money. But that is right now. It is possible for the economy to shrink so badly that no matter who you are you are affected in a major way. It won’t matter how smart you are with your money. If the dollar has no value, everyone is fucked.
im not going to worry about it until i go to the bank and my money isnt there… and Unemployment rate is at 25 percent… then ill worry… but for now im gonna keep spending my money, currency needs to move because when it stops is when its not worth anything.
