Retailers Believe the Wii Will Outsell the PS3

i’m waiting for ps3 and gran turismo 5. all those other driving games are a joke. drive over 200 through traffic with some super car that crashes but resets itself… gt4 there was gas factor, tires, different attributes to cars… . . Lets crash and see how many points we get, that game got old really fast.

I’ll buy a Wii and a PS3…fuck the 360 though

$50?

I’ll buy a WII if there is Mario Party. <3 Mario Party.

Name the terms and we’ll talk. PS3 > Xbox 360 for 2006? 2007? Month of November?

halo v.X > all, and mario kart > all. come on… those are obvious… any game where u can decimate people you’re playing against and piss them off to the extreme… unbeatable classics.

i’ve always been a nintendo person, but these $ 400 - $ 600 consoles are killing me. still have the xbox only b/c i got it as a present, and haven’t upgraded to the 360 YET… there would have to be some AMAZING games to get me to buy either PS2 or Wii.

Maybe I’m missing your point here… but in all of the GTX games… you can’t really crash. Just slow down… and you can’t really flip a car over… just lean a lot. And there is actually no damage at all… and sometimes your tires wear or get hot… thats cool, but flips and crashes are real.

IDK, I’v been playing the burnout revenge demo on 360 now for almost a week and its only one board.

Anyword if PS3 is going to have somthing similiar to Xbox Live?

And the way forza is shaping up I am pretty pumped.
Last I heard GT"5" was just going to be GT4 with better graphics and zero gameplay changes.
I might be buy a 360 post holidays

PS3 is going to be an overpriced POS.
Fuck paying 75 dollars a game.

I’m staying out of this one.

What I will say is that the next GT coming out for the PS3 is GT HD, which is going to be like GT Proluge: filler until GT5 is complete… which should be in 2008 most likely.

I love the GT series as much as anyone else, but for GT:HD they are going to have you buy courses and cars in order to unlock them.

“Players can purchase cars for ¥50-100 (about $0.45 to $0.85) and courses for ¥200-500 ($1.70 to $4.30)…A quick calculation shows that to purchase all 750 cars and 50 tracks would cost an astonishing $637, more than the price of the console itself!”
