my reverse lights on my 90 240sx have stopped working. They had been working before. i have replaced the fuse and both light bulbs and still nothing. anybody have any ideas of what could be wrong? thanks
Jack up your car, and check the wiring and plug leading to the very front of the tranny. Right before the bellhousing on the passenger side there are a few plugs. The first one is for reverse lights. Just check it out, the wiring leads to the back of the fusebox on the passenger side in the engine bay, so just follow it and check for any damages.

i couldn’t find any damaged lines or connectors. everything looked fine or am i looking at the wron thing?
sensor might be bad, try changing your 5th gear and reverse sensors, they will work in either place. if you swap them and it works then your reverse sensor is bad.
