RIAA Now Says CD Ripping Is Illegal

Yeah I have definitly bought less CDs over the years, but its not because I could DL them or anything, its that the music sucks ass

There are a few must have CDs that I will go out and buy and thats about it.

I also burn CDs so that I dont destroy the original in my car, which I have done before.

The question is how are they going ot track if you rip a CD? Go into my computer through the intraweb and haxor my computer to find any songs? They have already tried to put copyright protection on CDs but those were simply skipped. . .

RIAA plz DIAF

okthxdie.

Yeah, I pretty much stopped buying CDs from them a few years ago when this started. That and the fact you can get a new DVD for a few dollars more. That includes better sound quality, music, and video. Seems like they are marking the CDs up just a wee bit.

Here is what is going to happen,im rubbing my crystal balls right now…

more sites from foreign countries will start popping up that are similar to allofmp3.com,they’ll charge under $2 for a full CD or let you buy individual songs for 10 cents each. The battle will be lost either way, same thing will eventually happen with movies.

agreed, I havent purchased a CD (with the exception of maybe 2 or 3) in 4-5 years. Most new music blows… or atleast not worth spending 20.00 on

edit: and I’d really like to see them try and stop people from ripping cd’s… never gonna happen

edit2: and I agree, FUCK metallica
