haha arslan you are right buddy. a lot of people telll me the same thing.
In any case, I wanted to voice my opinion and show others my find. I am not trying to tell others what is the best look. Everyone has their own taste and style. I respect others opinions aswell, weather or not I agree with them.
Invalid Zero good job, as far as i can see you smoothed it out quite well… i hope its not packin alot of bondo under that primer
also, paint that as soon as possable, Even if its just spery paint for the time being. Primer dosent reject water like paint does, Leave it in primer and you will get rust.
just a heads up
Hmmm, didn’t know that. Thanks for the heads up!
As for bondo, I backed the holes with sheetmetal, filled the rest with fibreglass reinforced body filler (thickest is the thickness of the hatch panel), sanded that down then did a skim coat of regular bondo and sanded that down.
very clean s13, i love the looks of it, how much would it cost to get the hatch shaved?
I don’t know. Probably a bunch. Having done this I can understand why custom body work and even regular body work is so expensive.
good to hear man,
as i said, its a good job, you put some work into it.
i just dont want to see all of that hard work go down the drain.
GT-101 didn’t mean any disrespect - he just thought that since a lot of 2nd gen tegs have clear signals on top it kinda makes the lights look like 'em, esp since coupe taillights already look a lot like integras.
I think they look pretty sweet and I’d love to see 'em on your car in person. I have been debating getting the same units (G corporation are the ones who make em) but smoked lenses.
No offence taken. Just speaking my mind.
You can usually spot me in the durham region. Sometimes out in the GTA. Keep your eye out and ya may see me. Not this time of year though, the car is hibernating. She will be out by the end of april though! Also in the spring she is spending some time in the shop, new rims, bodykit and suspension are going on this year. Might look a lot different!
