My M1 Garand made in 1943 is going into the scrap heap then. It holds 8. I purchased it from the Federal Government. Ruh Roh.

Ok, so after several busy signal calls in the past few days, I finally got a promt that told me due to high volumes of calls they would no longer be able to answer calls or emails. They also stated in the prompt that it could take up to 5 business days to process an order. I ordered mine last friday, so with the weekend I should see it hit my account by no later than next week.

I just hope things calm down soon enough so I can call them back to pay in full. Fingers crossed.

If they have a decent order fulfillment process you should be fine

Most systems take a product out of stock once ordered

If you look at any forums every gun, ammo, gun part dealer is completely backlogged.

Good luck man, just posted up my most recent build for sale. With everywhere being out of stock i hope this was a good time to post it.

Gander has lots of 223 ammo.

Increadibly good gun quotes , right to the point

But do you trust the government with fully-automatic assault rifles? Unknown

The unarmed man is not just defenseless, he is also contemptible.
Machiavelli

The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose.
James Earl Jones

After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn’t do it.
William Burroughs

You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass. Japanese Admiral Yamamoto, 1941

“25 States allow anyone to buy a gun, strap it on, and walk down the street with no permit of any kind: some say it’s crazy. However, four out of five US murders are committed in the other half of the country: so who’s crazy?”
– Andrew Ford

“Without either the first or second amendment, we would have no liberty; the first allows us to find out what’s happening, the second allows us to do something about it! The second will be taken away first, followed by the first and then the rest of our freedoms.”

  • Andrew Ford

“The tank, the B-52, the fighter-bomber, the state-controlled police and military are the weapons of dictatorship. The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government - and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws.”
– Edward Abbey, The Right to Arms, Abbey’s Road, 1979

“When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“By calling attention to ‘a well regulated militia’, the ‘security’ of the nation, and the right of each citizen ‘to keep and bear arms’, our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny which gave rise to the Second Amendment will ever be a major danger to our nation, the Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason, I believe the Second Amendment will always be important.”
– Senator John F. Kennedy, 1960

“In America, freedom and justice have always come from the ballot box, the jury box, and when that fails, the cartridge box.”
– Steve Symms, US Senator from Idaho, 1990

“It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.”
– Dolores Ibarruri `La Pasionaria’

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject: Unknown

If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, then be prepared to accept barbarism. Thomas Sowe

If you are unwilling to defend even your own lives, then you are like mice trying to ‘negotiate’ with owls. You regard their ways as ‘wrong’, they regard you as dinner. John Farnam

Being multilingual is an excellent survival skill in today’s world; being fluent in another person’s native tongue means you can quickly and clearly communicate with them. And violence is the first language of all predators.
RyanM, (THR)

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to stand by and do nothing. Edmund Burke

The definition of diplomacy is saying ‘Nice doggie, nice doggie’, until you can find a stick. Will Rodgers

You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence.
Charles Austin Beard, historian

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
Thomas Jefferson

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes… Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
Thomas Jefferson, quoting Cesare Beccaria

A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity.
Sigmund Freud, General Introduction to Psychoanalysis (1952)

The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed – where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once. Justice Alex Kozinski, US 9th Circuit Court, 2003

People sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf. George Orwell

The 2nd amendment was never intended to allow private citizens to
'keep and bear arms.’ If it had, there would have been wording such as
'the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.’
Ken Konecki, July 27, 1992 ) (note: for any liberals reading this, its meant to be sarcastic…)

Terrorists don’t seem to be too afraid of stern language. But I do notice, that while the fear of death does not seem to deter these people, the fact of BEING dead does significantly decrease their operational effectiveness.
Bill Whittle

I submit to you that if a man hasn’t discovered something he will die for, he isn’t fit to live. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Armed people are free. No state can control those who have the machinery and the will to resist, no mob can take their liberty and property. And no 220-pound thug can threaten the well-being or dignity of a 110-pound woman who has two pounds of iron to even things out. People who object to weapons aren’t abolishing violence, they’re begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically “right.” Guns ended that, and a social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work. L. Neil Smith

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived. Gen. George S. Patton

No poor dumb ******* ever won a war by dying for his country.
You win wars by making the other poor dumb ******* die for his."
Gen. George S. Patton

The most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help’. Ronald Reagan

The unarmed man can only flee from evil. And evil is never overcome by fleeing from it. Col. Jeff Cooper

“One man with a gun can control 100 without one.” – Lenin

America was created and preserved for 200 years by armed free men. : unknown

Those who beat their guns into plowshares will plow for those who don’t.: unknown

“Before a standing army can rule the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States.” — Noah Webster, An Examination of The Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, Philadelphia, 1787

“A government resting on a minority is an aristocracy, not a Republic, and could not be safe with a numerical and physical force against it, without a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace.” James Madison

“People who object to weapons aren’t abolishing violence, they’re begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically ‘right.’ Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work. Wear a gun to someone else’s house, you’re saying, ‘I’ll defend this home as if it were my own.’ When your guests see you carry a weapon, you’re telling them, ‘I’ll defend you as if you were my own family.’ And anyone who objects levels the deadliest insult possible: ‘I don’t trust you unless you’re rendered harmless’!” - L. Neil Smith, The Probability Broach

."…and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one." — Jesus Christ, Luke 22:36 NKJV

“It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.” — Voltaire

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subjected peoples to carry arms have prepared their own fall.” — Adolf Hitler, Edict of 18 March 1939

“Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA — Ordinary citizens don’t need guns, as their having guns doesn’t serve the State.” — Heinrich Himmler

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.” — Mao Zedong, Problems of War and Strategy, Nov 6 1938 (published in Selected Works of Mao Zedong, 1965)

“I say ‘sorry’. It is 1999, we have had enough as a nation. You are not allowed to own a gun and if you do own a gun, I think you should go to prison.” — Rosie O’Donnell, Rosie O’Donnell Show, May 1999 (it was later found that she hired a personal ARMED body guard)

This just keeps getting worse.

Cuomo floated the idea of confiscation or possibly a mandatory buy-back program, or heightened permitting, but re-stated his belief that “the real answer here is federal.”

http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/politics/2012/12/6933365/cuomo-newly-revealed-gun-owner-doubts-there-will-be-special-session

On a positive note the state doesn’t have enough money to do a buy back program

That’s a good point.

It seems like the news is already winding down on the anti gun BS even CNN is posting articles where people agree guns are fine etc.

Look at the fiscal cliff thing neither side could compromise and anti gun BS would really mess with republicans.

Either way with the amount of stuff I have pre ordered/etc I guess ARs is my new hobby

NRA membership is up like 8000+ people a day looking to see what they bring up in their news conference shortly.

Actually found a lower locally for a “relatively” decent price. Only paying about $120 more than a week ago. Picking it up in the AM.

congrats man. its a hard thing to do these days
