Meh. I have 400 rounds coming in … they just need to be reloaded. 
Anyone have experience with tactical stocks for shotguns? I’ve got a mossberg 500 and would like to pick up a tactical stock to use for target shooting in the hunting off-season.

I personally dislike folding stocks or telescoping stocks for shotgun, they tend to be uncomfortable to use, Id say just keep the traditional stock or go synthetic for that tacticool look. Using it just with a pistol grip alone is brutal with a shotgun, plus any sort of pistol grip makes it very hard to reach the safety on the rear of the receiver.
Sadly all my guns and ammo were just lost in a tragic boating accident…

It’s not really the look I want or care about, the gun is full camo so it’s going to look pretty stupid with a black stock lol. What I’m looking for is more comfort when shooting a lot of rounds through it. I see many people say that the tactical stocks reduce recoil quite a bit from the buttstock technology and the addition of the “pistol” grip helps shoulder pain too. I have a .22 rifle that I shoot, but I like shooting the shotgun more. Plus I like to keep my skills sharp for when that 12 pointer steps out haha.
This is the stock I have on my Mossberg. I can shoot a hundred rounds without a care. It’s a full stock with a pistol grip so comfort is not an issue.

If you’re looking for comfort, starting with a Mossberg 500 was your first mistake.
I’m a lefty, my choices are pretty limited in shotguns unfortunately. I pretty much have to have a pump so I can control when the shell comes out as to not get powder burn, and I really like the safety on the top of the gun so Mossberg won. It fits me almost perfectly but when I’m shooting 10+ shells through it my shoulder starts to cry.

The days of going to a gun show for deals is dying. I saw some guns on tables for 2x more then I know are available online.
