Rifle Guys, Boom boom bang bang.

Funny, Cuomo didn’t give Bloomberg any credit for the SAFE ACT but now that it has been torn apart he brings Bloomberg into it…

“Much of what’s in the law was drafted by people connected to Mayor Bloomberg and the Brady Center, not by the governor’s staff,” the (Cuomo administration) source said. “That’s why there are so many problems with it.’’

Did you hear/see Barry yesterday? Wow he disgusts me more every day. You don’t ever speak for me.

Picked up an early 80’s Ruger Mini-14 (its been sitting in a closet for almost 30 years, 20 years on a boat (then 10 more in a condo))

snagged it for $600, gave it a good clean and it seems to pass the function test flawlessly.

Is the firing pin in the bolt, supposed to be spring loaded? (thats the only thing that seemed strange to me)

I did this the other day before and after

Nice! What type of grips are those? I just replaced the buttstock and foregrip on my Mossberg 500 with some Hogue OD green grips…loving them so far!

Magpul stuff on that one…Magpul is supposed to release stuff for the 500 this year at some point.

My mossberg has the houge stock on it.

Ive been looking at that magpul stock for my 870, how do you like it?

Everyone I know that has the Magpul furniture loves it. Maybe Bpipe will chime in for more specifics.

I just picked up an NFA LW-15 stripped lower receiver. Lanbo’s Armory have them for $69 shipped.

Should be in by the end of the week.

Cool probably shouldn’t post that since at this point it would be illegal to assemble it into an assault weapon(Single feature & semi auto per NY)

Who said anything about assembling it?

Anyone need some paper weights? I have some I’m looking to off.

I love .223 and 7.62 paper weights

Get rid of it. Shits dangerous.

Back this statement up please.

Sarcasm how does it work…

Tom Baurle is going nuts right now. At least someone in the media cares a lot about this stuff.

How? I didn’t think you could order them anymore, or that any FFL would accept shipment?

The story hit WIVB, WGRZ and WKBW last night as well, top story on all three of their sites. Buffalo News is the only one ignoring it. Still the top story on WGRZ right now.

Lol… I’ve just been getting the fire thrown at me for a polymer lower

A stripped lower doesn’t meet the requirements of NYS definition of an assault weapon.

So you can still purchase them

Technically you can’t assemble it into a semi auto + 1 feature weapon

If you owned an “assault weapon” when the SAFE Act was signed you can keep it if you register but you can no longer build/purchase them.

But who is going to register anything anyways

Oh and I put together an ATI poly lower before some of the tolerances were off had to do some sanding etc
