We need a secure/encrypted PM option. Some assembly but no drones are required. LOL
when are the paperweights going to be ready, my office is really windy at work.
Once I get about 80% done I will let you know.
So they will be 80% complete paper weights? What drilling/machine work will be necessary to complete?

TrueBlue:
It’s excellent. There’s so little felt recoil because the action is back closer to your shoulder instead of levered out past the buttstock as per a standard rifle. Your follow-up shots are quicker that way. Accurate too, it’s got a cold-hammered chrome-lined barrel - the barrel that’s on it is 18", but the rifle is smaller than my tactical shotgun.
It has an adjustable gas system, translucent polymer mags, ambidextrous design and the whole thing breaks down into six major components with no tools.

It’s got all the goodies built in. Only downside is a heavy trigger (trigger pack is plastic) but I’ve modded mine with a Neutrigger device. :tspry:

Took an active US Army designated marksman out to the range and let him go through some vintage steel… M44, K98, K31, M1. “My M4 doesn’t kick like these do” (his DM rifle is an M14)
He also got a chance to fire an AK, which I hope he took something away from.
Info on the K98? looks to be mid war by the stamped front band unless its a Russian Capture in which case it may have any number of different parts on it.
It’s my buddy’s rifle, all I know is it’s a 1944 “bring back.”

Very nice and potentially very valuable.
I think he said it was a family member that “liberated” it. If you have any interesting info on it, please sidebar me, I’ll let him know. It is an impressive rifle for certain.
I’m not sure if you still have this or not but if you sand as much of the finish off as possible, wet the wood and then iron it the majority of those dents will pop out. Might be worth a shot if you haven’t tossed it out.
The stock broke/was cracked badly, so it got tossed.

Idk if i have shared this, but if you guys have not shot one of these, you need to. Springfield “trapdoor” 45-70… these were used from 1870 until they were finally replaced by Krags and 1903 Springfields in the first decade of the 20th century. When you REALLY want to but a BIG hole in something lol

Everything in this image is brimmed with victory. I think I’m most envious of your floors, haha.
There’s a shooter at my range that fires one of these. I haven’t shot it but that pig is LOUD. Sounds like an M44 combined with a 12 gauge.
