Rifle Guys, Boom boom bang bang.

So I just got an email that states ARES Armor has 80% AR15 lowers in stock yet I have not received my order from almost 10 months ago. WTF?
I sent them an email, waiting for reply.

Well, technically this is a rifle now.

Holy shit. What the hell is that? Looks like a phased plasma rifle in the 40kW range

I would suggest boocotying this company entirely, hosting a fundraising party for one of the countries worst gun grabbers is like shitting in the face of their customers.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to consolation brands and let them know just now poor of a business decision this was.

brands to boycott.

loom through the tabs, they own many common brands.

It’s a glock 23 sbr in a roni g2 frame…

Load up on ammo right now kids, alot of confusion about the January 14th 2014 SAFE act provision, some suppliers are suspending sales to NY starting the 1st.
NY requires everyone to be compliant but isn’t telling anyone how to do so.
Buy now or forever hold your peace

Word is the NYS back ground check for ammo is starting at $10 and then getting bumped up to $20.

If the background check isn’t in place by the deadline any places selling ammo could continue

On the $20 price point 1 person claimed the SAFE hotline told him that every person who has called since has heard the opposite.

fantastic…

I will just buy it in PA when I am buying fireworks.

Yeah, I’ll be buying what I need in PA.

Has anyone been out to look at these guys guns???

I wonder how is the fixed magazine defeated, bullet button???

It’s almost like you google and post random things with out looking into anything at all…this has been covered on nyfirearms, ar15.com and a bunch of other sites.

People are running a bolt/nut instead of the mag release then covering it in epoxy even though the law doesn’t mention how the mag must be perm attached.

Bolt buttons are specifically not allowed the way the law is written.

You’re options are have a detached mags and no pistol grip of features OR have a fixed mags and features.

If you’re following the law suit they’re going to rule on the primary injunction shortly which will be either good or bad but at least its progress.

On your ammo rant the SAFE Act did away with mail order ammo sales regardless of background check requirements which is why vendors won’t ship ammo. NY had planned to piggy back on the NICS system for background checks but the federal gov said fuck that and they’re trying to build a custom system to do it however its going to be way over budget and a ton of work. The $10-$20 thing was only mentioned by a single person and spread all over facebook nobody else has been able to confirm that.

you know me too well

I just don’t have the time to dig into everything online, I am away from a computer most of the day and have several other hobbies/interests I follow so…
Thanks for the info, as far as the ammo I figured the charge for the check was bullshit but NY is a sneaky bastard and knowing them they will unveil the charges (if any) at the last second possible.
Trust me , I work for them.
At work they have been working on a new training module for the past 3 years, they finally perfected it and taught it to the supervisors, they gave all of us (2,000+ WNY employees) 3 weeks to get the mandatory training or face consequences, I was given 48 hours notice I had a mandatory training at my job on my day off. Everythings an after thought with them or at least thats what they want you to think.
Good thing I mail ordered an assload more ammo the other day, everyone else can fight over a few boxes at Walmart or in Bradford

I wish they would make the tax/background check $20 on ammo it would make it a ton easier to fight in court.

Small win federal judge just struck the 7rd limit enjoy your 10rds in 10rd mags

However he upheld the other parts but there are a number of other lawsuits in place and the appeals process.

The tresmond case is going to be in Erie county by a 2A friendly judge so hopefully some good comes from that.
