Anybody have a FNH pistol? I was looking at getting a FNS-40 because they’re fully ambidextrous and I’m a lefty. I haven’t found anyone with any first hand knowledge on these though.
My father and I have been working on a .243. Its a simple Marlin X7S with a Nikon Prostaff scope. doing handloads. Best accuracy so far at 100 yards is a .155" group. Point being, you dont have to spend an arm and a leg for a tac driver. The gun was $350 and the scope was about $200. only mod is we free floated the barrel.
Just throwing this out there. I am looking for a M1 Garand in .308. Will prob order off the CMP site and get a Service grade or Special. Leaning toward the special bc of the lessor wait time. But am really only wanting a shooter gun. If anyone local wants to sell shoot me a PM. Or know of someone.

Mine too! waiting for them to fix there trigger issues and get back on the shelf without a premium price. Was going to pick up a 700P since its not part of the recall but will just wait.
For 125ish bucks the best thing you can do to a Remington 700 is drop in a timmny trigger.
Aka don’t worry about the bs recall, ditch shitty stocker and grab a timmny.
The if you can find one, the 700p does have huge advantage, it comes with a pretty good stock on it already vs the huge pos on the spsv and spst.

Every big box store is not stocking the 700sps bc of the recall. I did find a 700p locally private sale. But guy wanted $1000 with nothing with it.
I have a 3# pull timney trigger on my AR, i love the pull on it.

Forgot about this guy. Build a couple months ago and has a “fixed” magazine. Got bored of my 10/22 and built this 9mm AR. Super fun to shoot! Put around 3k rounds of 124gr through it.

Brand new $670 plus transfer. Really good deal for the 700 action and the bbl. like everyone else said the stock sucks and they say the trigger is set to 3lbs but it’s more like 7lbs. Timney will be going in it.

I was very close to pulling the trigger (pun intended) on a RWC Saiga today. I think I’m going to go back and either pick up the gunsite scout in .308 I was looking at or the saiga.
I have the RWC Saiga in 7.62x39. I love it. Really accurate and fun to shoot. I wouldn’t mind one in .308 too but I think I’d rather save up for the M1A.
