Rim / Tire Question

i have a 15X6 set of rims

right now there 205 55 R15’s

was wondering if a 225 50 R15 tire would fit

i was told they would, but i just want to make sure

i know you can go a bit bigger

just want to make sure

Will fit, but def not safe. Max I would run on a 6inch wheel is 215. You need AT LEAST a 6.5 wheel to run a 225, and 7inch would be ideal.
