Now the first two are the same, forty-
five an ounce – those are friend
prices – but this one…
(pointing to the Choco)
…this one’s a little more expensive.
It’s fifty-five. But when you shoot
it, you’ll know where that extra
money went. Nothing wrong with the
first two. It’s real, real, real,
good shit. But this one’s a fuckin’
madman.
Exactly. There have been a ton of overdoses in the area lately, probably due to the same issue in PA (heroin/fentanyl mix). Most people who overdose get quick medical attention and walk out of the hospital a few hours later. Just a few weeks ago, some guy shot up at work and died in the bathroom but you didn’t hear about him on the news. Had a full time job and no one knew he had a problem.
They have programs now that provides narcan (the medication used for opiate overdose) to laypersons. They passed a law a while back that prevents police from charging people for the drugs if they call 911 for an overdose, but there are still people who don’t call. Now you just squirt this in your buddies nose and they fight you for ruining their high.

Just for education purposes for those who dont know. One of the penal code changes for the good samaritan law that went into effect in 2011.

Are you talking about Ian?
The first time you do heroin you are committing suicide. I DO understand addiction that why I have never done heroin. It seems elementary to me.
He is not a victim, his Children are because they were born to a fuck up.
Do drugs.
Siqqqqq.
Said no one ever.
Grow up.
There was a high ranking local cop interviewed the other day and he said Buffalo/WNY is becoming the opiate capital of the USA. Just another reason to get out of this hellhole.

Recently a sheriff had told me something similar. Sad
I have too many friends from high school (hamburg) who died this same way. A few of the other addicts have made it out and have been clean for a long time, some haven’t
I’ve seen first hand what heroin will do, that’s why I’ll never shoot it. Only snort it
(I’m kidding. I like booze.)
The more I think about him spouting anti-gun propaganda and funding anti-gun groups like Bloombergs Mayors Against Guns while dumping who knows how much money into heroin the less I care that he died.
The guy narrated an anti-gun video who’s opening line is, “How many more street corners,” as a frightened woman walks along a seedy urban street, eyed by a character in a car and another across the street, with a despondent-looking shadow figure in the foreground.
Know what puts those shady drug dealers and junkies on the street corner? The illegal drug trade that you’re supporting with the millions you made acting.
But yeah, lets take guns away from law abiding citizens who just want to protect their families from the very scumbags your illegal heroin habit are putting on the street.
100% agreed. I will take it one step further and say fuck this guy. I am glad that this junkie ass hole is dead and can’t harm his children.
yeah no sympathy for this guy.
and experimenting is one thing but if you have poor/no self control or an addictive personality (which you should know by your teen years) don’t ever try any hard drugs. its pretty simple.
For all of you with zero sympathy…shame on you. Regardless of the circumstances, the money, the fame, the comparison to a “typical” junkie and the media making it a difference, it is still a tragic loss, not because he was an actor or famous or had an oscar, but because he was a son, a father, a human being.
It has been said that he was actually supposed to be meeting his children at a park and while getting high before you go see your children is incredibly wrong and irresponsible, it paints a picture of how terrible addiction is. I am 100% positive that he did not wake up and say, Screw you kids, daddy is getting high. It just saddens me that when people die in a sudden or tragic way that people dismiss the 99.9% of the story they do not know and point to someone famous throwing it all away. Like that was the plan, He had issues well before he was famous and its probably amazing he was able to achieve what he did. The fact that he did not become some gutter rat is astounding.
If any of you watched a family member or friend suffer from addiction, you would be a lot less quick to pull the zero sympathy card. People make some very bad choices and there are very bad prices to be paid for those choices. I just feel terrible for his family, you may think they just lost their junkie heroin addict dad, but they dont see that, they just know they lost their dad and that sucks.
Pretty clear that many people here have never dealt with addiction at all.
It’s a lot cooler to be unsympathetic. Why bother with displaying a small amount of compassion for someone that never wronged anyone? I haven’t heard a story or instance where he treated anyone (co-workers, friends, fans, strangers) without the utmost respect.
Stupid junkie loser, LULZ.
And this right here is why I say fuck this guy. Putting my family first is why I’ve never tried hard drugs like heroin. Yes, the addition is powerful, and it’s exactly why you shouldn’t take the risk to try it if you care about your family. Being a PARENT is about putting your needs and desires 2nd because some little kids are counting on you to be there.
And yes, I’ve had a family member who struggled with heroin addiction. And yes, he too was a dumbass for trying it in the first place.
Right.
Because I’m not a total deadbeat. And I don’t associate myself with those kind of individuals.
He was an addict LOOOONG before he had children. Should he have said, shit I am an addict, I got a woman pregnant, I should just punch her in the stomach and leave? Would that make him a “better” man?
So everyone that decides they arent fit to be a parent, has an abortion or gives the kid up for adoption is a better person? Everyone that gets a divorce doesnt put their family first? I am glad that family values exist but its not 1950 anymore and the world, especially America is a pretty fucked up place.
Meh
I get a kick out of people saying how great he was. 70,000 people die everyday on this planet, I am sure God moved him to the front of the line because HE WAS SUCH A GREAT ACTOR, OMG111.
That’s the reason? I’m pretty positive that even without family, you wouldn’t have ever tried heroin.
