More than likely the only reason this case is even still open is because the department is in the national spotlight and want to make sure everything is done 100% by the book. You’ve got the bodies, the gun, probably the casings and all the forensic evidence… you can’t tell me they don’t already know what happened. But :tup: to them doing a good job not leaking a bunch of stuff to the media. No leaks about GSR tests on either of them, who the gun was registered to etc.
They can do tests to determine whether or not she fired the gun. Last I heard, they were working on that to determine what happened.
Apparently she did have a bf or ex-bf, but I don’t think there is any evidence of him being in the area/seen.
edit: also, if the gun was underneath her, that should be able to tell something. Was it all the way under? If so, someone would have to move the body to place it there. Was it just sorta nudged under one part like it was jammed under a limb?
do the casings match the gun she had? maybe she came out of a room to try and defend him with a gun?

I heard about this earlier… I loved Air McNair. Not only did he give me many great fantasy seasons, he was one of my all time favorite players. I always figured he was a class act guy as well
