Ripping DVD's onto computer

what is a good program to do this, so i could rip a dvd onto my computer then burn it onto a dvd??

im guessing this is what you need to do to get past the copy protect ??

forget it, if you are trying to copy movies it’s not a direct copy of movies, most are on 9.4G discs unless you have the dual layer media and burner which is pricey and almost not worth it.

You can use dvd apps to cut and tear down a DVD to two DVD’s but it’s a pain and time consuming, not worth it…

DVD Shrink is what you want though.

DVD Shrink is the shit

Only way to go!

Agreed!!! :whitey:

If ya need a copy just drop me a email

SHRINKS the best , have a good copy of nero to burn faster though.

there’s also dvd x copy… it won’t dump it to the hard drive, but it will copy to another DVD as a “backup”.

i love dvd x copy platinum

truth.

I hope you dont mean the burners are expensive cause I just bought my dual layer for under 70 bux. The media is more than single layer but thats should be a given.

i am pretty sure he is talking about the media, the media for the dual layer is still quite pricey

yeah media is $$$ a burner can be had for 60 - 80 bucks

Burner = $100 for a good one
Media = $5 per disc or so, maybe more haven’t seen them locally available either.

All in all it takes a good bit of time and second machine to setup and burn on, till they get a bit easier I’m still buying my movies.
